Wallsend

Northumbria Police requested the support of Mountain Rescue for a missing vulnerable teenager in the Wallsend area of Tyneside. North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team and ourselves swiftly responded liaising with the Police Search Adviser to build up a picture of the circumstances which led to the individual being reported missing. Thankfully as search plans were about to be drawn together it was confirmed that the missing person had been located safe and well.

The incident involved 5 Team members for 2 hours 30 minutes. A further 28 Team members were on standby ready to deploy if required.
