Wallsend

North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team and ourselves were requested to assist Northumbria Police with an ongoing search for a young girl reported missing on Saturday evening in the Wallsend area.

No sooner had the Teams deployed, our Duty Controller received the good news that the missing girl had returned home, safe and well. A good outcome for all concerned.

The incident involved 23 Team members for 40 minutes.
