Having stood down from the search the previous day, the Mountain Rescue Teams were recontacted by Northumbria Police for further assistance. Whilst our duty controller was liaising with the Police Search Adviser it was confirmed the missing person had been located alive outside of the area searched the previous day.

A good outcome for all concerned.

The incident involved 1 Team member for 1 hour 30 minutes.
