North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team and ourselves responded to a medical emergency on Hadrian’s Wall last weekend. Sadly despite the efforts of members of the public and the multi-agency response, the walker did not survive.

Our thoughts and condolences go to the walker’s friends and family.

The incident involved 14 team members for 2 hours and 21 minutes.
