Seghill, near Cramlington

The North East Ambulance Service requested North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team’s and our assistance in the early hours of Wednesday to locate a reported injured male in the Seghill area of Northumberland. Following initial discussions with NEAS, our Duty Controller liaised with Northumbria Police and it was agreed that no further Mountain Rescue assistance was required.

The incident involved 6 Team members for 1 hour 30 minutes. A further 10 members were on standby ready to deploy.
