Incident Type: Alert

In the early hours of the 17th, Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team @tweedvalleymrt (TVMRT) alerted ourselves and North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team @northoftynemountainrescue to a high risk missing person incident. With the incident being just over the border from Kielder village, near to the hamlet of Saughtree and TVMRT requested additional assistance.

No sooner had we been alerted TVMRT sent a stand down; the missing person had been located and was with emergency services.

The incident involved 1 Team member for 4 minutes.
