Ryhope

In the early hours of the morning, our Duty Controllers were contacted by Northumbria Police. The Police required North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team’s and our support for a vulnerable male believed to be in the Ryhope area. Police officers were searching for the male at the time of the request.

Thankfully no sooner had Mountain Rescue’s support been requested, the Police confirmed the male had been located and the Teams could stand down.

The incident involved 1 Team member for 10 minutes.
