Incident Type: Rescue

NEAS requested assistance from both teams following reports that two people had potentially a serious fall. Several other services including the NEAS Hazardous Area Response Team, GNAAS and the Fire and Rescue Service were also activated.

Echo and Foxtrot deployed on blue lights due to the potential seriousness of the situation and the teams were called out again.

Once HART arrived on scene it was quickly established that Mountain Rescue’s expertise would not required and NEAS stood the teams down. The two casualties were taken to an ambulance for assessment.

The incident involved 20 Team members for 1 hour and 12 minutes.
