Whilst most of us were enduring typically Scottish weather on the last day of our winter skills course in the Cairngorms, North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team and those of our members who remained in the area were requested by the North East Ambulance Service.
NEAS required assistance for an off-road motorcyclist who they’d been unable to locate. At this stage it was unclear as to whether the motorcyclist had been injured on or off-road.
Eventually, the motorcyclist was located by one of our local Team members near to Prendwick, while other members were travelling to the area. The motorcyclist was assessed at the scene by the NEAS resources.
The incident involved 19 members for 1 hour 55 minutes.
