Incident Type: Rescue

Echo and Foxtrot, still returning to base, were immediately redirected to the second incident, joined again by Key Mobile and local responders. The casualty was assessed, given pain relief, and their injury managed by a team doctor.

The patient was then carried by Bell stretcher to the nearby road and transferred to the waiting ambulance for onward transport to the RVI.

The incident involved 16 Team members for 3 hours and 24 minutes. A further 5 members were on standby in readiness to deploy if the incident escalated.
