Northumberland County

Team members continued to support the recovery from the impacts of Storm Arwen. This time two Team members, along with a Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service 4x4 from Pegswood, conducted welfare checks on vulnerable residents in the hamlets and isolated properties from Akeld, Kirknewton and into the College Valley. The final checks of the day were out at Kimmerston near Milfield in North Northumberland.

Thankfully everyone we met was in good spirits and they were very grateful for the support they are receiving from their neighbours and all the emergency, statutory and voluntary services involved.

The incident involved 4 Team members for 6 hours.
