The Police once again requested Mountain Rescue’s assistance, this time for a missing 19 year old women in Newcastle who was first reported missing on Monday evening. A search involving

Police officers and our volunteer members was conducted in Leazes Park.

Tragically a body was found on Wednesday afternoon in Leazes Park and our thoughts are with women’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

The incident involved 14 Team members for 6 hours 40 minutes.
