Hulne Park, Alnwick

Incident Type: Rescue

Ourselves and North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team were activated by the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust for an incident in Hulne Park on the outskirts of Alnwick. A patient was reported to be suffering with a potentially serious medical condition and they were believed to be on a difficult to access, muddy path.

One of our emergency vehicles was swiftly deployed on blue lights but no sooner had they set off, and the standby had been sent out, NEAS confirmed that the double crewed ambulance was with the patient and they were able to deal with the incident.

At this point both Teams stood down.

The incident involved 4 Team members for 19 minutes.
