Incident Type: Standby

In the early hours of the morning, Northumbria Police alerted Mountain Rescue for a high risk missing person in the Heaton Park area of Newcastle.
No sooner had North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team’s and our volunteer members been put on standby, the Police confirmed that the missing person had been found safe and well. A good, swift outcome.

The incident involved 12 Team members for 25 minutes.
