Northumbria Police contacted our Mountain Rescue Duty Controller on Saturday afternoon to discuss potential support for a high risk missing person. Following a detailed discussion with the Police Search Adviser and after some initial planning, it was agreed that there wasn’t sufficient information to justify a search with Mountain Rescue resources.

The incident involved 1 Team member for 3 hours 20 minutes.
