In agreement with the Police Search Adviser, Mountain Rescue search groups, and one Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England dog team, were tasked to search tracks and paths, crags and forestry for the missing person. Once again significant tree fall in the area from Storm Arwen hampered the search. Despite everyones’ best efforts, nothing was found and the two Teams stood down in the early evening. Volunteer members then returned home to enjoy the rest of the Easter weekend with their families and friends.
Without any additional information, it is unlikely that a further Mountain Rescue deployment will be required. Police inquiries are currently ongoing.
The incident involved 15 Team members for 7 hours 20 minutes.
