Dunstanburgh Castle

Incident Type: Alert

At just before 18.00rs ourselves and North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team received a request from the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust to assist a man with a lower leg injury at Dunstanburgh Castle. With the NEAS HART team enroute, our drivers were made aware but shortly afterwards, NEAS confirmed they were liaising with HM Coastguard and our resources were stood down.

The incident involved 2 Team members for 10 minutes.
