Derwent Valley

North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team and ourselves were activated by the North East Ambulance Service for an incident in the Derwent Valley. An individual had collapsed near to the Lockhaugh viaduct in the Derwent Valley. Prior to deploying an update was received that the individual was walking back to the heritage centre and Mountain Rescue resources could stand down.

The incident involved 5 Team members for 20 minutes.
