The Ambulance Service requested Mountain Rescue’s assistance again for a young person who had got into difficulty while swimming in the River Pont. Due to the location being some distance from a main road, Mountain Rescue were asked to respond.

Shortly after the request was received, a NEAS crew arrived on scene and confirmed that no additional assistance was required and the individual concerned was safe.

The incident involved 5 Team members for 8 minutes.
