Auchope Shelter

Whilst the competitor involved in the Incident No 58 was being evacuated, a second injured competitor presented themselves to a Mountain Rescue medic who had remained at the refuge hut. The male runner had sustained a foot injury and was suffering from the cold.

Following an assessment, the injured competitor was slowly walked off the hill down to the Team’s 4x4 vehicle in the valley.

The incident involved 3 Team members for 1 hour 45 minutes.
