Technical rope rescue skills

Earlier in the week, our volunteers got together to practise their technical rope rescue skills. In addition to that, our medics also had a chance to work on delivering casualty care in difficult situations. Bringing these two skill sets together makes training much more challenging but also more realistic.

Annual basic life support assessment

Last night some of our volunteers were looking at all things medical. They worked on their annual basic life support assessment as well as putting this into a series of scenarios. The team had input from visiting health professionals who also took them through ILS and ALS drills.
