Northumbria Fire and Rescue service allow us to house our vehicles and equipment at Pegswood Community Fire Station. Pegswood is also where the team meet and train. We joint train with NFRS especially in the are of water rescue.
Northumbria Police are the teams primary calling authority and provide team with operational support and access to communications equipment
The team was founded by Northumberland National Park rangers and we are proud to still have an affiliation with the National Park Authority more than 50 years later. The National Park Authority also supplies the team with an annual grant.
North East Ambulance Service provide the the team with operational support and are also one of the teams calling authorities.
